Like I promised, here are the Coney Island Mermaid Parade photos! Some were not safe for work so unfortunately I could not post everything up here, but the parade was a fun experience, since I always heard of it. (This was my first time seeing it.) The parade is a celebration of Coney Island, and well, everything nautical related; it's a fun thing, and this year the mayor of New York even joined in. (First time the mayor joined in.)
